Your Hosts, Tom & Don
Hello friends.
A little information on your hosts at Don’s Elegante’. Don’s Eleganté is owned and operated by Don and Tom. Along with their two very friendly and well trained chihuahuas, Poquita, and Paco.
Don is originally from Washington DC where he spent 36 years in retail management. Don also is an entrepreneur. As an Interior and exterior designer. He has designed our home / Bed & Breakfast with many different themes per room. He is also an amateur botanist. Our back yard is a tropical oasis.
Tom is originally from Minneapolis Minnesota where he spent 15 years as a state trooper. “I am compelled to help, teach and protect all people”. Tom also worked in the fields of hyperbaric and under water welding. He has built many steel structures for you to enjoy. A 15 foot steel trellis covered with flowering vines. A see through steel bridge that goes from the main community patio. Over our very large koi pond. To the Bogota covered hot tub.
We are both very friendly, respectful, diplomatic and happy. Our reasons for opening our home as a Bed & Breakfast are very simple. We love meeting new people from around the world. Learning other people’s cultures and life stories. We love to entertain and host with all that we have. Don loves to display old world dining etiquette. Serving all meals on fine china, crystal and silver. Of many different types, designs and styles.
And our main reason for starting a Bed & Breakfast. We maintain a very clean environment. One day Don said to me. “If I have to constantly clean these two unused bedrooms. I might as well get paid for it”. LOL!!!!!

For breakfast, all Don’s Eleganté guests are greeted each morning with a complimentary home made breakfast of –
– Don’s famous spinach, cheese & tomato quiche.
– Waffles and pancakes of many types.
– Eggs with bacon or sausage.
– Coffee, tea, juices. Fresh seasonal fruits.

We invite you to spend your relaxing get-a-way at our exclusive two room, gay friendly Bed & Breakfast. Experience the Art, Diverse Culture and Entertainment our Valley of the Sun has to offer.
Our location is close to downtown Phoenix. Less than one mile from our new light-rail system. Our famous cityscape experience. And the colorful and diverse Melrose district.
Antique shops and five star dining and shopping that would top any traveler’s list.
