My partner and I were visiting Arizona for a music festival and decided to try a bed and breakfast (best decision ever) these men were great. Don & Tom were so social and kind. Beautiful home, relaxing stay and a nice comfortable king size bed for your pleasure. The cooking is AMAZING. If we ever find ourselves in Arizona again? This is exactly where we will be staying. I stayed here for just one night, at the end of a long long trip through Arizona and California…what a lovely oasis I found! The place was easy to find and parking was a breeze. Don greeted me and showed me around, handing me a tall cool glass of water. His home is lovely; highly decorated and very comfortable. I was in the English Cottage room, very warm, inviting and comfortable, with a wonderfully comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, and Don is a very good cook! Checking in and checking out were incredibly easy. Except for a 5-night stay in a Sacramento Airbnb, Don’s place was by far the most comfortable Andre most reasonably priced. I intend to stay there every time I’m in Phoenix if they’ll have me. Don and Tom are great hosts, and the pooches were as well. You really can’t go wrong at Don’s Elegante B&B!

The most we’ve been relaxed in a long time! Everything about the place is serene, classy, and beautiful. The furniture in our room (Oriental) was spectacular. And the best shower ever!!!! Our outdoor lounging and eating areas were shady and comfortable with birds singing and chimes ringing with quiet music in the background. Arrival wine was lovely and breakfast was again, spectacular. To top it all off, we were able to get our “dog fix’ (ours stayed home) with two of the friendliest and cutest chihuahuas. Thank you, Don and Tom, for a memorable stay.

Beautiful house and rooms. Don and Tom helped me feel comfortable and like I’m part of the family. I’ve found my new home away from home.

Wonderful, warm, friendly home. The hosts were so accommodating and helpful with local information. The breakfasts were fantastic, especially the quiche. We even decided to do one evening meal. Italian night with spaghetti including homemade sauce and meat balls. Possibly the best part of our stay (4 nights) were the conversations, both with the hosts and other guests.

Stayed 5 nights in October 2017 in the English Cottage room. Really enjoyed our stay, and Don and Tom were the perfect hosts and made it super easy for us to come and go whenever we felt like it. Would definitely recommend staying here and probably will stay again in the future. Much, much better than just staying at one of the big hotels. Had a great time, very quiet, and really pleasant stay!

I loved everything about this place….luxurious room with private patio, incredible decor, large garden with hot tub, flowers, koi pond and fountain, great location, wonderful breakfast (and dinner….Don is a great cook)…..but even more than those things, the warm and welcoming hosts were the best part of our week long stay. I would never consider staying anywhere else if we return to Phoenix!

For my first Bed and Breakfast experience, Don Elegante made it one to never forget. Great hospitality, awesome room and a calm atmosphere make for a great experience. Seriously, go to Don’s next time you’re in town

Had a great, one night stay while on our way to Sedona. Both Don and Tom were super friendly. The king bed was VERY comfortable and the room was very private…enjoyed the very high quality coffee on the private patio in the morning as breakfast was awesome. You can’t been the value for that area. We’ll go back for sure if we are in the area again.

My husband and I stayed for one night back in February and when we go back we’ll definitely stay longer! The room was extremely comfortable: besides the king bed, it had a private patio and a full bathroom. The owners, Don and Tom, are absolutely delightful. We immediately felt welcomed into their home. Breakfast was delicious and their pets (two chihuahuas and a cockatoo) were charming. We would absolutely recommend the Elegante to anyone looking for a unique stay in the Phoenix area. We can’t wait to go back!

Don’s Elegante is one of the best B&Bs ever! They have an absolutely beautiful oasis in their backyard full of a huge variety of plants, fountains and an jacuzzi. The bed in the Oriental room is superb. The decor is beyond anything you would expect, and the breakfasts are delicious! Quiche, waffles, a plethora of fruit… My boyfriend and I have been here twice this month and will definitely be back again. What a great place.

I have now stayed with Don and Tom many times while on business in Phoenix. I can’t say enough about how accommodating they are! Although I have not been able to stay each day to take advantage of a relaxing home cooked breakfast, they have sent me off each morning with a delicious food reserve that hits the spot every time, not to mention perfectly brewed coffee. The rooms are warm and inviting and the entire house won’t disappoint with hidden gems to look at everywhere. The patio is an oasis of peace in the busy city on a nice morning or evening. Their two chihuahuas and rescue cockatoo are delightful and only add to the ambiance of being in real home (away from home). Loved it.

We had a great experience with Don and Tom! Wonderful people, nice gardens and rooms. I would go back and recommend it to anyone!

We had a lovely time at Don’s Elegante this Spring. Very clean, neat and the garden is beautiful. I wouldn’t think of going to Phoenix without calling Don’s.
BTW- Don is a great cook, we were there for Italian night and it was great.
Don helped us out getting a Rental Car and returning it before our flight. That was a big help and saved us a lot of money too.

An absolute must if you want downtown Phoenix and relaxation. The atmosphere is totally relaxing, the food mouth watering and the hosts are extremely accommodating. I stayed for eight days and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Looking forward to going back next year.

An oasis of peace and serenity after a long day of meetings! Warm and gracious hosts, two loveable chihuahuas, one very entertaining cockatoo, and countless hummingbirds made for a wonderful stay. Not to mention the delicious breakfasts! Thanks so much!

If you want to be treated like royalty, you have to stay at Don’s Elegante in Phoenix, AZ.
I love this establishment from Don, Tom, Coconut, Pepico, I am sorry but I can’t spell the other puppy’s name. The food is delicious and the hosts make certain that every thing you need is handled professionally.
If I could I would stay at least once a month, I wish that it was possible for me to do so.
You won’t be disappointed by making a reservation for a special event or just because you want to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

I completely loved my stay at Don’s Elegante. The owners were very nice and made sure that my stay at the bed and breakfast was very comfortable. From the time they picked me up from the airport they made me feel at home. The Bed and Breakfast is absolutely gorgeous and the outside garden is beautiful. Oh and I must say, the food was amazing! I opted to have my first meal there since my flight arrived later in the evening and the food was great!
I also enjoyed how close the B&B is to everything. Although I only spent the weekend in Phoenix I was very close to shopping, the concert venue, and nice restaurants. The location definitely made it easier to get around and the light rail system Phoenix has was also really nice to get around.
When I travel to Phoenix again I will definitely stay at Don’s Elegante Bed and Breakfast.

I have to give this place five stars. I love it. The home is charming and the owner, Don is a fanastic host. The food is amazing. Don makes his guests feel like family. It’s centrally located in the Phoenix area and minutes from several Phoenix nightspots and attractions. Whenever we can we stay here and are made to feel right at home. I would recommend this to tourist and business travelers as the place to stay. Thank you Don for opening your home and showing us an excellant time. See you soon Don and Tom. I just had a wedding by Don’s Elegante and the comments from the guests were unbelievable. It was ‘magical’ . The dinner reception was out of this world. Don makes everything ‘special’ about his B&B. The decor is so beautiful, the food is marvelous and I definitly intend to do other special events there. Right now, it is a true Christmas house. His flair for decorating surpasses all others. I would reccomend this destination to everyone. Thanks Don and Tom.
